Revit and AutoCAD drawings for Sea Road Project

In April 2023 I was thrown in the deep-end and supported the lead architect to get the Sea Road project moving: re-drawing the concept model within Revit and preparing AutoCAD drawings to comply with Planning Conditions so that work on-site could begin:

One suprisingly exciting aspect of the design involved the layout of the new public toilets within the building. My early career in SEN meant I appreciated the significance of the Client requirement for a 'Changing Places' facility within the ground floor of the new building. I also sought out the feedback of associates within the LGBTQ+ community to enhance my understanding of an 'ideal' layout for an inclusive design for public toilets. I provided an initial design layout which has now been developed as part of the concept design options.

SUDs design were an important element of the design and my first task was to produce AutoCAD drawings showing the SUDs design, to submit to the Planning Department, to satisfy the planning conditions and enable work to start onsite.

NE. Lincolnshire Council released Enscape images of the project above and the BBC reported on the developments. Sea Road building replaces an iconic sea front bar called 'The Waves' and many Lincolnshire locals and those from further afield are interested in the progress of the project...

On work experience at Equans, my first Revit model was a drawing of the Cleethorpes Pier. This formed part of the Cleethorpes Town Model which I continued to be involved in and draw local buildings along the Cleethorpes seafront, to provide a backdrop for the Sea Road project. 3 different Revit models to present to the Client: NELC

Client meeting preparation:

Between May and July 2023 I developed 3 different Revit Models, with different total and rentable floor areas, for our Lead Architect and Professional Services Team to present to the Client and make a decision about next steps. In addition to drawing the models, I produced the sheets and comparison measurements for the team to use. An example of these can be seen below:
